Though the YES will not automatically bring extra ugali to my table... I hope the new structures will allow for greater transparency & growth in the economy...

So who will benefit & why????
[This is general info on Companies/Sectors fortunes not specific stocks whose entry price is critical]

KQ - A peaceful Kenya means more leisure tourism, conference/seminar tourism & pass-through passengers using NBO as a hub

Cement - Peace means increased confidence in an economy which means increased construction of houses, roads, buildings. Also folks build when there are enforceable Property Rights.

Banks - Better enforced laws means lower defaults, increased lending confidence.

the whole economy will benefit...

creation of the counties will mean every company (esp banks) would wish to have a county presence...

we will see inter counties infrastructure built...

There could definately changes,i know a few people (Kenyans diaspora) who never invested in Kenya ever since they became US citizen 20yrs ago.. but now from there voice they are ready ..as much as constitution will bring prosperity and fairness.......my brother is in the process of negotiating an estate deal at Kitsuru...
