This again means Equity will rally for the rest of the week and into the following week . I envy those who bought it at 15.00 . For this rally i project a target price of ksh 28.50

@qw
Equity is the best buy I have ever made. Bought 34K shares over a period at average of Ksh 14.50. Sold half of that @24.00 and now waiting to make a kill at that target price of Ksh 28.50 if it happens.

Safaricom will also ride alongside equity. According to latest cfc research report, safcom gets sh 10 for every deposit into m-pesa account.

Kaffir, why would anyone want to sell Equity? It is the 'Ultimate Share' to possess.

I beg to differ.. but that is subject to a differnt thread..

Mkesho..recorded registration of 300,000 subscribers within two months..most likely to hit 1 million mark within the year as is projected by Michael Joseph.. eventual plan by equity is to get every one o M-Pesa operating an account with the bank.. It therefore need no mention that the Mobile banking Kingpin for atleast next 5 years is Equity Bank.. now imagine the amount of money atrributed to trading accross m-pesa being routed thro Equity..

Unless the likes of KCB, BBK etc pre empt this m-kesho thing by starting own mobile platforms with m pesa..

(guys like kina coop are dead in mobile banking..am still puzzled that a whole lot of staff are under contract to sell their mobile banking with target to get 20,000 customers in 3 months.. a paltry 20,000 in THREE FREAKING MONTHS???)

Equity is NOT the "ultimate share" but..the probable fortunes from M-Kesho.. are totally immense.. it would be silly to sell...but also imprudent to put all your eggs here.

Yes. When you mention Equity, i will be there. This is what NARC promissed us and we should all demand it. Financial inclusivity for all Kenyas at prices they can afford and with respect and dignity.

Sisi sota wakenya tumesema YES na kukubali we are all one. Now lets see how the NSE will react and to be more precisely, lets see how fast the 5K mark will be reached.

I hope no one will bring issues of ethinicity into this one now.

Interesting watching HF and Equity movement. It's like they are joined in the hip.

BBI will solve it

HF and Equity will be the two counters to look at. And by this Katiba going through its time we removed "POLITICALLY CORRECT" on equity and see it as nationalistic venture

I wonder if I'm one of the 200,000 accounts they have opened in the last two months.
I filled in the forms on 12th July and was told to expect an SMS in 48 hrs. When that didn't happen, I went to the NHIF branch to ask, and was told that the account was opened, and indeed an account no had been issued. They also said they were facing technical challenges and would send the SMS soon. I'm still waiting.
So, am I an MKesho account holder?

GG exactly the same story for me. They keep asking me if I have updated my M-Pesa menu. But I hear M-Kesho is yet to reach the efficiency of M-Pesa. There are complaints of delays in transactions

Imo, this rally is a post-referendum one. Equity is the biggest beneficiary of a peaceful Kenyan because of its customer base
