Hi all. These are the stocks that'll move this week. Make informd choices.
1. CO-OP BANK. This share broke a key resistance level on Friday. And on my charts its showin a good ascending triangle and a price break out. I am pretty excited because i got in big in this stock.

2. KAKUZI - with all the buzz in the coffee industry, investors are likin this share coz of the good earnings the high coffee prices'll bring.

3. SASINI. This stock'll continue its upward trend that it showd last week. For the same reasons as Kakuzi the high coffee prices'll make this stock juicy for many investors.

4. DTK. This share will go down. It hit its high of ksh 88.00 on friday and not unless there's some really good news this share is goin down.

5. HFCK. This stock'll move up as it sluggishly did last week. And since we are entering wat i call the 'speculatin season' I expect the stock to maintain a gud ride up.

With those few, happy investing.

@qw,
Are your charts able to 'see' into the future i.e 3+ years?

@ qw,

Keep it up. By the way, how do you get these charts? Is there a data vendor who gets you this,or you just do it from scratch and if so do you have a specific charting program you use? I am purely a fundamental invesor but Iam beginning to get interested in the technincal bit.

@qw - I thot technical analysis had little to do with 'fundamentals'... BTW, Kakuzi has very little coffee... so the reason you have given is BS...

I am not a believer in technical analysis... but what about the coffee???

U missed my point... Kakuzi has very LITTLE coffee... they uprooted most of the coffee bushes years ago... so why wud higher COFFEE prices (significantly) affect them???

VVS, you are actually wrong on this one. Kakuzi does not have LITTLE coffee. Actually, it has NONE, accordng to several articles.
"Kakuzi is mainly involved in tea and horticulture with about 60 per cent of its total revenue emanating from horticultural sales, while tea contributes 34 per cent of the total.
The company phased out its coffee operations after years of poor performance, while continuing with its livestock and forestry operations."

@qw2504...You are perfectly entitled to continue bathing in ignorance. The agriculturals were driven by improved earnings from TEA.Last year world tea prices were at an all time high due to drought in the major tea producing countries including Kenya.Kakuzi was tea and avocadoes not coffee. The prices have declined just marginaly amidst increased production and weakening shilling,i believe another spike in agriculturals is looming.Let us see how WTK full year turns out, half year EPS from normal operations was 12 bob.

My mistake... I thot they had a few bushes left (thus I said VERY LITTLE)... So in that case why does @qw think that coffee wud be the driver for the price rise?

@qw, typo hahaha. Btw the pineapple joint venture with Del monte is still there. Kkzi also started a macademia nuts project, which will bear fruit (nut) in a few yrs.
