Hi Wazuans am your new member and ave a problem that ineed assisatance from you guys.i bought a vehicle from a guy who works in barclays bank but yet to get the logbook 8weeks after the transaction.the guy only gives stories.anyone who can assist me get my important doc

@doubtfire...I would suggest you check with KRA if the car is registerd and under who.
It would be bad if the car was stolen

I dont think so. I had bought one as well 14 weeks ago and just got the logbook. But safety precautions are better meant to be taken.I am sure you must have made an agreement.

thanks guys.i had confirmed with KRA before i bought and its in his name although it was previously owned by him and the bank.again we have the agreement but its taking too long.

it will help alot as its the only way to find out whether the dude has a loan.

Why shld a log book that that long to get. I hate this kind of deals. If i dnt get the logbook for the cheque the same day. I cancel the deal. Hope u get ur soon. Your future depends on your dreams so go to sleep !

This deal sounds funny. How do you pay and wait for a logbook? One other thing did u have a written agreement with the guy cauz thats usually very important but most people overlook cauz as it appears logbooks are being compromised!!

@jamplu there is nothing long with waiting for the logbook but this one has taken too long and now am worried.we had a written agreement and all the necessary documents like pin,id and the copy of the logbook.but now the problem is it has taken too long and i fear it might even take longer.if onyone has the HR contact for Barclays Market branch,kindly assist
