Mutula says it is not possible to form a tribunal before judiciary reforms..... Ocampo in an interview a few hours ago says he will pounce any time from now...........Johnnie Carson,on behalf of the Obama adminstration says Washington supports Annan's deadline............Can't get any closer given that the two bills can only be re-introduced after July 21st.Parliament also takes a break on 25th June and house business will resume on 21st of July. This leaves the Mpigs with 6 parliameny working days within which to pass the two bills.....huh...!!

Yombo dhier....!!

Seemingly the local tribunal route is closed as Parliament,at the behest of leading suspects, will forever shoot down such a prospect.

Ocampo should then be telling us when the summons will be out.

Tumbili waanze kuhara.
Kinyezi nyepesi ya kijani kibichi.
Na miti iteleze pia.

Ocampo; get cracking.

@ Njunge, following you on this matter,I can tell you really want justice to prevail over the PEV and maybe prior to that. I do too.

But in my opinion,if you see many pigs pressing for the Hague option,it could be very well a conspiracy.

Watch the space between now and say seven years later. I will continue to insist that ICC option remains a marginalised preoccupation.

The local tribunal stands to be a lesser evil,in as far as letting people with blood on their fingers go scot free is considered evil-rightly so.

But this is just an opinion that I own.

Impunity in Kenya is what informs part of Obamas beef with us.
Obama wants heads to roll, and whips to crack.
Principals not exempt.

Mr. Njunge,I keep asking you,if Kenyas parliament overules the findings of wako, and declares them faulty, and asserts Kenyans sovereignity, how will Ocampo get the accused to the hague?
1. Our police will recieve no order to arrest them,or will he give it to them? so how will he catch them,10 prominent Kenyans spreadout allover? Will he set up a new police force in Kenya to go hunt for these guys?
2. Several African and developing countries protested over this style of patronising behaviour by UN and other international agencies with regards to their institutions (remember the drama over the UN specioal rapporteur Prof. Alston),if Kenya rules that it is capable of running its own things,it will get overwhelming support and the idea of hague will be trashed on the same international platform.
Please forget this obsession with Ocampo Mr.Njunge,if you want peaceful sleep and more viable solutions. Forget that lousy bearded Ocampo fello,he is a whimp!

Thanks

Juvenile insults asides,

Who is charged with a crime against humanity? When the claims are faulted,he does not need to arrest them if he is going to
1. Try them in absentia
2. Wait for the to die and carry out a posthumous trial.
Maybe you should advice Ocampo how to try ElBashir, the same blacks he has been slaughtering decalre him innocent.

The laws judiciary follows are made by parliament or 'the people'. The judiciary simply hears and makes rulings. Law enforcement is an executive proponent usually carried out by police, the 'Law enforcement officers'. Do i need to lecture you on governement? In anycase the judiciary is not an absolute authority. Mr. Real Shaft, forget the Hague if you are to sleep.

When Ruto said 'twende hague' he was mocking people like you. Hague is an absurd joke in this case, although it sounds nice. Hague! Hague! Hague! has a nice ring to it,not so? dont be seduced by the sound of the word.

If you want any justice in this issue,it is going to have to happen here, clear and simple.

Thanks
Prof
