I saw their prime time news and I was impressed by the level of sophistication I think they will be our next aljezera or CNN and Tom mboya is back!

Heard, but not seen yet, that Julie Gichuru is finally back on her show. Almost worried she'd left for good.

Good of them to hold on to her...

Citizen puts me off with those hopeless jinga mexican soaps.someone there seem obsessed and i rarely watch it this days ceptin' news and a couple of locals......What value do this programmes add?....I wish they show more educative documentaries and relegate this useless programs to late night......KTN impressed jana with that documentary on stigmata...Some more of that pliz!

Yeah, Julie was on maternity leave and has given the Gichuru's a bouncing baby boy. Belinda officially handed back her programme to her last Sunday night.

These citizen guys are just copycats, they now look more like KTN, even their presenters were poached from other stations

Their new look studio is definately appealing, Julie has always stood out in her quality of interviews and presentation,as to whether the other presenters (Obura's and such) can match her, I think not. Same way Catherine Kasavuli cannot interview anyone or do an off the cuff to save her life!

Tom Mboya and Obura were overdoing it. Maybe the excitement of new studio.

If Jesus' second coming was to be announced through citizen pre 2005 referendum then oops i would have missed going to heaven.used to hate the station coz of opinionated and outrightly biased and tribalised reporting.of late honestly citizen is setting the pace in all aspects.
@ smano its good to appreciate that the three presenters have their weak and strong points, the issue of who cant match who is baseless childish imaginations.

The new look is great. I however dont like Belinda Obura, she talks as though she is in a heated argument - my TV vibrates every time she comes on air.. calm down sister.

@mzazi...hiyo ni kali. She talks as if she is in heated argument!!!!Ha ha ha haa heeh haha..Have u realised of late she has reduced the size of her "cianda" to manageable proportions?

And to Julie;this "sharp" woman is just giving birth so fast like my average neighbor's wife.In 4 years she have like 3 kids!!!!(stand to be incorrected). And am told that she is married to the rich Gichuru's;the huzzy of whom batters her quite often(stand to be incorrected)

Yes, unfortunately she gets chapwad kama ngoma za wakorino.

''...Julie is married to Anthony Gichuru whom she met in 1999. Anthony is an IT and transport consultant. She is the mother of three; Samuel 12, Salome 9, and Daniel 6. In her recent past is the sudden death of her 61/2 month old son Mwaura in 2005, who had suddenly stopped breathing, an event that had a great effect on Julie and her family. ''

Magigi and bkismat..

In my village they say if you want to know more about yourself just go for an elective post or become a public figure.

back to the point.. there are wife barterers out there and they could be bartering anybody including women celebs. Lo unto you if you are a public figure then news do travel faster...
