Let me go against the rules and leak the information that mpesa ya mkopo(name undecided) is coming. Interest rates are slightly below 4% monthly. Lowest borrowing 200/-, upper limit is being worked on. Whats your say?

@poundclever, jijazie tu, is an upper limit of 10k good for addicts who transact the 35k limit daily or they will take the 10k and run away then we hire a thao debt collectors? Btw risk exposure is pegged at 1bill and test will be through atms for collaborating bank. It looks tight to me

@muchknow they can take all details today, and tomorrow the details actually change in real life...wata do? Will they appraise the guarantor as well?

Here is how you can really make this work for the stock market. Link the MPESA platform to reputable stock broking houses, allowing people to buy and sell shares by charging their Mpesa accounts. Then offer the 'mpesa your mkopo' facility to such equity traders and voila! You have a margin account. It will do wonders for hard up share traders like me.
