Buying a plot in Nairobi

are plots that are sold on share certificate genuine? can they be used as security for a bank loan? what is the procedure for ensuring you are not conned in such plots ?

Presumably the shareholders of the Land-Buying Co will eventually subdivide the parcel amongst themselves and each will have his/her own title...

If so, then you have nothing to worry about. If not, then the banks will be very reluctant beacuse the value of your share [not your plot] in the company is difficult to establish.

In this regard, Who has dealt with vineyard properties? They are selling plots in Utawala.

Also any info on plots for sale in Kitengela area or any other place e.g Juja, Ruiru (Thika rd ) with titles can give ideas

i think kitengela is still a good deal to get some land, anybody with an idea of a good land/plot valuation company and the costs involved
Success is 20 percent skills and 80 percent strategy.

price 350k a piece (80by40), place is around 2km from the thika highway on the left side towards thika,place is Muigai inn,slightly past Ruiru.
has elec n water.anything else u'd want to know?
