In the spirit of the season, lets share suggestions on how one can be modestly generous...

It doesn't always have to be the big visit to some childrens home or IDP camp... it could be a lunch for the guard at the office, giving away stuff that has been lying unused in your closet forever... Or even a friendly chat with one of them traffic officers! Shame on you .. A round for the guys..

Simple that stuff that could make a fellow Kenyan happier. Ok.. Toeni maoni...

You can add a few more coins or a note to the tins in the supermarkets tills that go to Children's Homes and AIDS support..treat one of the "good" street boys in your area, giving out the unused stuff in the house should be almost mandatory...m-pesa that guy who has always been asking for help and you have shrugged them off...if your church has a benevolent arm that is working, add your contributions to that...or just simply make a decision to thoroughly help just one person...thoroughly means making an impact that they'll never forget

Great holiday season...don't forget to always put God first

@akowally….your humility and caring spirit amazes me.

What about your house girls? I find it appalling that most people pay their house gals very little. Read somewhere that a house girl/boy should be paid at least Ksh 6000. Poverty reduction is not some blueprint released by government officials in some swanky hotel; it starts with you and me.

The SK charity club memebers are currently gathering donations in cash or in kind,to be shared with our less fortunate brothers and sisters this festive season. For those who've been following our activities,SK Charity club has been actively involved in various charity events throughtout the year.Visiting childrens homes, donating food during the drought period, donating food and clothes to former street kids, planting trees..etc

We are also welcoming ideas on childrens homes we can visit or very poor people we can visit and share the spirit of Xmass and the little earthly things we have.

To join the bandwagon and for more details, kindly email our cordinator vision2030 via mpolekabisa@gmail.com OR go to googlegroups and look for 'skcharity'

Na ukishindwa na hayo yote, drop me an email on reggyzoe at yahoo dot com and i will share your thoughts with the rest of the charity club members.

Be blessed and please lets join hands and spread the love of God

Ati "SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!" And you believe this lie? You not only belief, but also support it! This campaign is commercial and motivated by need to push sales!
Is it not sin to teach children that Santa Claus is real and brings toys to good girls and boys?
Ok, let's allow JESUS to answer this question for us:
- "And all manner of liars shall Not enter the Kingdom of God." (Rev:21:8)
- "And all who love and maketh a lie shall not dwell in The Holy City of New Jerusalem, of Heaven. (Rev:22:14).
If Santa Claus is real, you have nothing to worry about. But if Santa is a Lie, then you are sinning against God and your children.
Lying to your Children about Santa is a work of Satan and will keep you out of heaven, unless you repent and practice truth.

We can give our Children gifts and toys and tell them we do this to remember the wise men who brought gifts for Jesus. We can celebrate Christmas, focused upon the Birth of Jesus without the lie of Santa overshadowing all that we say and do.

I support remembering orphan homes, AIDS, your church or Mosque. And yes, the mboch, house boys and our needy relatives as well.

Visit the Children's cancer ward @ KNH and spend a day of games with them. Kids always want to play! There are some people who have visited these kids each month for over last 8 yrs without fail - if that is not a big heart I don't know what is.
