Quote:Thousands of jobless graduates from Kenya who help lazy university students in developed countries to cheat academically could soon be forced to find something else to do after the UK government started clamping down on essay mills. On Thursday, international digital money transfer service, PayPal, announced it was withdrawing its services to essay-writing firms selling to university students. This was after weeks of pressure from the UK government, which insists stopping payments for essay mills would go a long way in beating academic cheating. https://www.nation.co.ke...252-13l0nvtz/index.html
mkoloni will not accept his former subjects to have such guts. Her majesty's former subjects surely cannot have gone so far, they must remember their former position. This will hurt the micro-economies of Ruaka, Roysambu, Ruiru, Kite, Rongai. Wish we had better political leadership we have so much raw talent and entrepreneurial minds.

The argument that if funds to brokers are cut then lazy students will become active, is untrue and invalid.
For one, networks have already formed to a degree not requiring brokers.
But maybe we need to ask what really makes this 'industry' tick. Could it be one of the capitalist contradictions?

The demand side ( degree mills) is huge and so the supply side ( essays mills) will thrive. Most online courses thrive on these mills "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

The silver lining in the cloud is- ....They (Kenyans) have good English...... That is a high compliment from Dr. Thomas Lancaster, a senior fellow at Imperial College, London.

But I wish to be educated on this matter, so please share any links to laws prohibiting a lazy student from procuring a service and a product from another person(s) at a price.

I think Kenya should consider academic papers as one of her exports and that the UK government is probably starting a trade war.
The Kenyan government needs to protect her citizens from unfair trade practice. And even be keen on new and emerging markets.

I want to believe point number one therein is sufficient No, it's not sufficient. It doesn't show that those papers written by Kenyans for British students never go through any substantial alteration. It doesn't even say on whom burden of proof lies.

Then go sue paypal for wrongful closure of essay mill accounts.

Then go sue paypal for wrongful closure of essay mill accounts. Our question was whether writing for other students is a crime. You made an interpretation and declared it a crime. But the crime hasn't been proven. So what remains, and what is happening? A government is making deliberate decisions to cut sources of livelihood unjustifiably, and worse still, to deprive their own students and global citizens basic freedoms for expression, and association. It's a horrible injustice. Whether I sue or not.

Its a crime one of the biggest in academia. If proved the academic certificate is cancelled. Mind you even if its after 20 years. Even here in Kenya nobody should write for you a dissertation or a research paper. The pride of a dissertation is it originality. People want to get degrees without working for them.
