Rare 'Black Panther' spotted in Laikipia

The international media is reporting that this is the first time such has been spotted in 100 years. And I thought, really?!? Kwani there are no humans in Laikipia? A muzungu has to spot it for it to be a genuine spotting?

Anyway I guess for the locals this was not unusual, it's like that guy in the US who had been using a rock for years as a door stopper just for the kin to realize later that it was the rarest meteor.

Anyway, I hope Balala doesn't start relocating it.

BBI will solve it :)

Melanistic leopard. There is one in the Abedares, as well as melanistic serval cats.

Okay, here's the deal: a leopard doesn't need to be spotted.

In this case if it's pure black, then leave it alone guys! @murchr, what color do you want to apply for the spots?

And what method will you use for the task, tie and dye?

All Leopards have spots. But for panthers you have to actually see them in bright light.

So we're now debating on who photographed a black panther in 100 years in Africa? Supposedly the last one was photographed in Ethiopia in 2009. Huyu wa 2013 amekuwa akiweka picha wapi?
