I dont understand why they didn't make more money in a bull market. Beats logic. Administrative Expenses is 73% of the gross income. This company belongs to administrators, not shareholders.d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!

If I were you, I would get out immediately. I expected stellar performance for the half year, bearing in mind that it was a bull market. You should infer something from that financial statement. The gross income actually improved from last year. But those gains were all swallowed by administrators instead of you resulting in flat earnings.

@Wondergirl, Decision making in stock market is personal one. Never think otherwise. Think about what you want carefully and make move at your own time.

Says the guy who beats drums from rooftops encouraging people to buy KQ. Anyway, it is her personal decision. Let's compare notes in 6 months or less.

My concern is their lack of imagination in their range of product offerings. They only make money from brokerage fees and the sporadic listing. In particular, deeivatives have taken forever to come to the NSE.

Hehe. I don't respond to such young clowns.. Been holding KQ consistently since 2013 along with various other stocks such as SCOM, KNRE, COOP, KCB, BRALIRWA, SBU.. These clowns should STFU and watch the KQ share keenly over the next few weeks..

NSE leadership needs to innovate to increase profitability. Things like day trading, ETFs and short-selling should be introduced already.

Really puzzling. In a half year with a bull, a drop in earnings!

Since we are in a bull market, she is unlikely to get burned. However, I dont expect this stock to outperform the market. Simply put, investing in this counter will only give inferior returns.

I was once sitting in a room full of guys i respect for their financial acumen...and when this stock was being discussed...they had one consensus...be very wary of a company that is not selling a product or service.

They don't know the services offered by NSE... and you respect their financial acumen?
