President Zuma signed a bill that seem to be the greatest step in history of trying to combat HIV. From now on every person who gets tested and found to be HIV positive would not just get counselling and medication. They would also get a mark in a form of a tattoo near their genital according to the bill singed by the president.

How about those guys who usually have romps in the car park at night outside the bar, gate , church etc? Do they even have time to look where the airport is?

One will need to carry a small torch to mulika and survey the airport (and confirm there's no tattoo) before landing.

Tatooing will be of little impact. Culture and lifestyle is the culprit.

A good proof of culture as the main influence, look at South Sudan and Sudan.

@kysse, a picture is worth a thousand words. But I'm sure you've read between the lines.

If this is true (that link is very gutter-ish) then it is the most idiotic thing to do. People now have one more reason NOT TO GO for testing!!!

And when one meets such people, the absence of the tattoo will create the impression that the person is HIV negative. Total bull crap!!!

If they are serious, let them get the self testing HIV kits that were launched in Britain and subsidize the cost so that watu wa bend over (akina jaggernaut) watembeage na kit! A saliva kit would even be better. Ati ni kununulie tot? Tema mate hapa tusisumbuane baadaye!

There are various strains of HIV. Ukipata mbili tofauti, wewe kwisha!! The level of the virus in the body also matters. If you get reinfected, the level goes up and you hasten your trip to your maker.

Even when both partners are infected (including married couples) inabidi watumie mipira (na si ya EPL)!
