Hi all,

I currently reside outside Kenya and i am interested in finding out which bank has the best online banking facility. Online banking is my primary medium for transacting in Kenya. I currently bank with a bank that shall remain un-named but I am deeply frustrated with it. I can never seem to log in - theres always an issue.

Any help appreciated.

In as much as I complain at times, I still love CFC. The fact that I can transfer money online to another CFC account without any transfer charges, makes it the best for me.

I have used a few...though I am yet to use the CBA one despite having an account there. Can I transfer money directly from the account to Mpesa? The ECB one allows that and its quite fast. Even before you log out, money has already been credited into your Mpesa account.

I have used CBA, Chase, Simba na DTB. CBA's has always been on top of them all. It was the first bank in Kenya to introduce real transaction online banking when other banks only provided 'view only' online banking. Simba is also very good especially in mobile banking. For those who frequently deal with mpesa it's cheaper to transfer from bank to mpesa as opposed to deposit then transfer. For 70k Simba will charge you KES 55 if am not wrong as opposed to mpesa KES110 charge.
