It is worth it. He may not end up with an aeroplane, but he could soon come up with something new. Life is not just about waking up, going to work, eating gizzards for lunch pale T-Mall and going home to sleep. Even if he comes up naught, he'll say he did something...

Exactly! people have walked on the moon, sent rovers to Mars, orbited Jupiter, landed on a comet and this guy is trying to do what the Wright brothers did 150 years ago?

This is a case of people not outgrowing their childhood fantansies.

Home building planes is a big hobby elsewhere. Let the jamaa also engage in his hobby. Maybe he should link with <<other hobbyists>> around the world to share ideas. Also <<these ones>>.

@XSK and @wilyum let us not be lazy. Nothing today is not known, but that does not mean you cannot produce your own version, read "copy". The Chinese do this all the time. Currently, their eyes is on the drone technology. Is that technology inventing anythin? No! Everything is there... processors, hard disks, electronic components, switches, etc

What matters is putting up these components and coming up with your own version. Who knows, you might come up with a smarter design!

Just like all the computers and phones we use. What do you think they are? They all use same components from same companies... processor from processor makers, screen from screen maker, diodes from diode company etc. Then you call it your own.

For example, I can make a lamp and call it "Twinkle"!

It's not about the thing. It's about the man's mind and the changes it's going through.

But the mind can do anything you bid it to do.

Anything is possible even at the trillionth attempt.

'Mind'.

'Anything is possible'?

Why not 'everything is possible'?

Because 'impossible' is 'possible'. That is why?

Hence the mind cannot do anything and everything you bid it to.

What is 'mind'?

'impossible' is a symbol, 'mind', is the sea of symbol creation.

Everything is possible because anything can be done by and with the Mind.
