My mum was diagnosed with ulcers. The doctors says its been there for loong ( she has been complaining of lower abdomen pain for almost 6 years). She was advised on what to avoid eating. What she does know is which food to eat. Please advise what we can buy given;

She is elderly- nearing 70
Stays in shags..

Even a BrOKeN clock is right twice a day

Cabbages and carrots. If you have a grinder it will be better. Non acidic fruits will be great too.

If she has been told what not to eat then how comes its hard for you to know what she should eat?

I have had ulcers for years now, maybe 20yrs, usually it's trigged by anything, I have my own triggers and she will probably have her own, they heal after a couple of days then come back when you get intouch with the triggers, so she has to just understand her triggers and stay away from them and also get over the counter anti-acids and if she is in pain there are prescription she can take for a couple of days and the ulcers will go away.

I hope she had a proper OGD done (they pass a tube down the food pipe and take pictures of the stomach; and cut samples for the lab too). A 70 year old lady with a recent 6 year history of dyspepsia might be chronic gastritis which leads to a tumour in the stomach.

Anyway, it is not so much what to eat or not to eat, being on a drug that lowers acidity levels in the tummy is the most beneficial approach. Say a PPI for 3 months continuously with or without antacids.

Mokiri, kysse??

I assume that is me?

Buy FIDO jars (at Nakumatt), Juice cabbages. One jar put the cabbage juice

The other put the pulp + filtered water + Salt (1 1/2 tablespoon per liter of water) Himalayan salt is best.

Let the juice sit/ferment for 3 days. Then let her drink, morning noon and night time AND whenever she gets the tummy pains.

Let the pulp ferment for a month. Suture and eat a small potion before all meals.

Buy enough jars to ensure continuity of the process.

Clean up her diet (A long topic,if you want me to get into it)

IF SHE STILL HAS ULCERS AFTER TWO WEEKS OF THIS, COME HERE AND CALL ME A CHARLATAN.
