House rules on religious discussions.

Dear Members,
In the spirit of Wazua, we are welcoming suggestions on house rules to govern our religious discussions.
So for example: 1. Is it okay to ridicule another's belief? 2. Is it okay to criticize extremes? 3. Is it fair to direct personal comments at individuals?
4. Is proselytizing allowed? 5. Should we have 'Siku ya Sermons' or 'Siku ya msikiti' or 'Siku ya temple' threads?
We welcome your comments. Please, let's put the personal insults and injuries aside in this thread.

In response, I beg to quote an email extract from a lady I hold in high esteem. BTW, what's happened to your virtual republic?
Its become bland, nothing but silly religious arguments that go nowhere, and government apologists making excuses for the jubilee idiots.
Admin has regulated the place into a gova office, bloody idiots. Hahaha... Still, I was never really a member, so I don't get to complain, do I?
My suggestion, leave the Citizens to their own devices.

@Wazua Spirit (pun intended), spiritual matters have been hogging wazua time and is a true opium to some. I think 1 thread only should be allowed where cranks from all religious shades can vent there

Agent Smith: Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world? Where none suffered, where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through suffering and misery. aemathenge wrote:In response, I beg to quote an email extract from a lady I hold in high esteem. Freedom of worship doesn't mean freedom of abuse. comparing other posters family members to wild animals is absurd, inappropriate and cruel. Freedom of those who opt not go to heaven/paradise should be respected. work to prosper

We were all OK before some fellow went back to religious school and decided every small thing was to be converted into a religious fight
The atheist evangelist was here too, but not with that much energy

Dear madam, There's nothing wrong with mahubiri. It is better than being blown up But it's wrong to fill every thread with antagonistic religious arguments Maybe that's where we go wrong. We become too (ir)religious to the extent of being obnoxious!

The easiest way of "killing" such threads is ignoring them. Once the religious arguments arise, leave the thread and move on to the next thing. The only thing that keeps a thread alive is contributions. If left alone, it should die a natural death.

It's difficult for most of us to refrain from the kind of posts under discussion. Politics is running sectarian all over the world.
But then, on the verge of self destruction let all have hope, for humans have not just self consciousness, but superconsciousness.
And it rises out of these undesirable posts. And soars. So the issue @admin is whether you're soaring.

Where does moderation come in? Admin, some forums such as wazua have moderators whose role is to user not just @impunity and friends, but also to user inflammatory, insulting, and crap comments. People need to present sober arguments and their posts should only be allowed to stand if they reflect sobriety. Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

@Mademoiselle, Maybe you should provide guidance on what you like to see in club Sk coz it seems anything related to fish, funny pictures, landing, politics, religion etc are not appealing to you. Or maybe you should be starting threads for Sk members If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

Seems its been a while since you were here, we have people who will twist everything towards religion. They have been usered, threads closed but when they show up later the song continues. Eventually turning wazua into a very boring zone "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .
