Taxation: What's the strategy!

the subject has been the headlines most of the days this week and i wonder what would we not be taxed! probably tomorrow we will be told tithe's to the church will be taxed! i do not understand how the government requires the cement makers to pay Sh140 tax per tonne translates to an in increase of Sh20 per 50kg bag passed on to the consumer! How?  if i seem ignorant, forgive me bt this is crazy!! yesterday, i learnt i will pay tax equivalent to the cost of another i have not budgeted for should i win say a Sh.10million Range Rover!! i hope to wait, see n  this money doesn't go to the pockets of a few individuals

The trouble is a lot more money is needed to run the counties, more than was projected theoretically and the resources to sustain them aren't there. We have too many unnecessary counties in the country.

If you perpetually stick to Citizen TV and KBC then you might tend to think it is not possible. Of course corruption is not an absolute zero but it is negligible. In some countries less than 2% of public money gets lost in corruption. And even for that someone has to be punished! For your homework today, study the fiscal discipline in Germany, Canada and Netherlands. Then tomorrow I'll give you another three countries! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Lolest , I am not able to watch KBC because am not physically in Kenya tho I watch Citizen once in a while online anyway... I dont deny that the so said countries have little corruption indices but the reality is their taxes are also "wasted" as you've put it in many other ways....Read the Canadian Senate Expense scandal..the German govt has been blamed for being too lax in fighting corruption. Why do you think there are too many money problems in Europe? Govt spending. The only places in the world where govt almost spends in the right way is in the Scandinavian/nordic countries and that is largely due to their culture...(feminism).
