Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

I am unable to unsubscribe from daily bundles, so everyday safcom automatically buys them for me even though I don't need them and chews into my credit.
you know how to unsubscribe?

Sad hapa, tuko wengi. Ni kama hiyo meter yao is on turbo-boost mode. I've recently noticed whenever you open/download a file, they 'nyofoa' up to three times as many MBs as the size of the file!! Sad Sad
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

@ patrazi thanks a lot.

@ maka woi,but I found a solution esp when using modem because the same happens.

convert all the credit you have into bundles.
Only top up the amount you need for that moment and exhaust it if you are a heavy internet user.
I stopped crying.

Well,One must know how much they charge per KB to compare with what's left in their bundles after downloading a file.
So how much does safcom charge per kb? and do they have other 'hidden charges like kplc?
let me do testing.

that would only apply when accessing the internet on pay as you go - when you buy say 100mb bundle and you download a file say 3mb in size - ideally you should be left with 97mb.
What I have noticed is that any streaming service seems to gobble up lots of data - especially the site that automatically have videos playing by default, huffpost, forbes, cnn na zingine.

you open in a new tab, thinking that you will read it latter - kumbe kuna ka video kanacheza.

How else do you think safcom data business line is able to report impressive growth year in year out?

test results.smile

Current data bundle = 455.81 MB

I go to http://www.nation.co.ke/

Data bundle balance = 454.31

The nation site cost 1.5mb

If 1500MB = sh 1000
1MB = sh 0.7

1.5mb = sh 1.05= opening http://www.nation.co.ke/

Correct me please if i got it wrong.

you are correct, thats why safcon is pushing the sale of smart phones - data is becoming a very lucrative market for them
