I have been seeing this Dipek thing being advertised on TV. So I decided to google and this is what I found.
DIPEK ENTERPRENUERSHIP
Isn't this a pyramid scheme? Is Orange aware of it really? Why would they allow it to use its product? Have the media who are taking their advertisement money investigated fully what they do?
On looking further, I have seen this notice from Equity:
http://www.equitybank.co.../blog/view/notice-dipek
Then this K24 guy even gave them a platform?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSXhx6FOoLU
I went ahead and searched for it on Orange Telcom website and the results were:
http://www.telkom.co.ke/...5&option=com_search
Am I just reading too much? I dont believe there is something called "Easy Money"

Thanks washiku for the link. I was trying to convince someone to avoid them. Your links and research will be very important.

I found the fellows fronting it being interviewed on KTN some time in the last two weeks and didn't buy it either. It reeks of a pyramid scheme by another name.

WHY ORANGE?
Orange is the only Kenyan mobile service provider. It is owned by the kenyan govt.
Orange was ready and willing to sponsor the programme for the sake of empowering Kenyans
Orange offers incredible services that are affordable to all Kenyans irrespective of their financial status e.g Affordable call rates: For Ksh. 10 per day on Holla tarrif, you get
THOROUGH RESEARCH:
The government embarked on a thorough research both locally and globally. They interrogated and widely consulted rich personalities. They include wealthy people like Manu Chandaria -a Kenyan multi-billionaire industrialist and a philanthropist based in Nairobi,Warren Buffet,Bill Gates,Carlos Slim(currently the wealthiest man on earth worth $78billion).They also consulted the richest countries e.g China & America. Moreover they did a depth research about the leading companies in Kenya
With this sort of lying, you are better off keeping off.
Which Kenyan gov't talked to Carlos Slim?
Orange is the only Kenyan mobile provider?

Its interesting to note after putting this notice Equity Bank went ahead and launched their own simcard and form of mobile banking. Were they trying to stop the competition on its tracks?? Note Other than Orange, DIPEK also has Safaricom on Board and Airtel have never removed them from their website. Partnering with Orange is a huge thing because Orange is owned partially by both the Kenyan and French Governments. Due diligence was done for over a year before DIPEK got the contracts. It is important to do real research and not copy and paste anything you get from the net. Part of research is joining a programme so you can speak with authority from actual experience.
Have you spoken to Safaricom and Orange dealers and found out how much they make a day let alone a month..... You may just find out you are thinking really small about a 150 billion industry and over a trillion dollar mobile money transfer industry.

Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
