Hi Wazuans,

Do you realize that Facebook is one big " public social site"..okay, when you set up your fb site, you basically expect only your fb friends to access your page..right? Wrong!

I have realized that for those who post on public sites, other people can access your private page including your pics, postings!

For those who don't believe what am saying, go to a public site like statehouse kenya and just click on any of the postings/comments..this will take you straight to the poster's page with full access.

My question to you all is how can we fully secure our fb pages so that only our friends have access?

Any techies in the house?

if it is meant to be a secret - don't post it on facebook.... secondly, there are ways to lock down facebook.... and locking it down is pretty good - however most people don't. if you click the 'kufuli' on the top right of the page - you can lock it down.

general priciple is that you cannot prevent people from navigating to your page - however, you can prevent people from seeing stuff on your page.
