Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly
ok just don't compare the two cz each is unique.
I have learnt a lot from that site about the west and still do,made lots of friends, met weirdos, scammers, learnt little pidgin, theres a wealth of info there plus their politics is HOT! so HOT you can feel the steam on your screen
But we kenyans believe that everything from the west is fake so each to his own.
I like the uniqueness of wazua and it's size as well.NL has over 1m members. But few are active posters as usual.

pls delete.
@simon .Seen a few kenyans though posting and taking off.
They have a foreign section where issues like our recent presidential elections were being discussed, icc cases, but you find people posting distorted facts.
It's nice if kenyans posted the truth cz the forum is the largest in Africa and read by many.

@essyk, i have starred it.

In all the fora that i go to, its only wazua that i comment. I look at solarpaneltalk, jamiiforums and nairaland mostly, but NEVER comment, only enjoy the fun, stupidity and inteligence of the members.

Somebody like symbols can easily dig that out.
Thank you.smile smile
Well We bump into forums by accident when googling up stuff.
I was drawn to 'photos of Nairobi'by gaallivant on that forum.
Still my best thread cz the photos are just amazing.
The rest well.I only comment on what I familiar with and read the rest.
Hata niko kwa Ghanian forum and somalinet.Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

But they are a bit slow to my liking.

@Dunkang thanks. sawa.
EA is another photo thread.Awsome indeed.
You know some italian lady appeared on that thread wanting original photos of our city to use in their upcoming hotel website.Of course I did my own lil research and confirmed she was genuine.
I wish I was able to, but it needed somebody who could walk around the city with camera the whole day.
I love those photos.

I went to nairaland for the first time after @essyk mentioned it severally here in wazua. But I find it too clattered for my liking.

Nigeria is cluttered. But NL is a credible forum (still undergoing changes). It's like their wazua.
The thing I love about wazua is the level of maturity and sober debates without too much noise.
Small has it's own advantages.
There are no ranks on NL,it wouldn't even make sense to have them.
The forum has to accomodate 1,035,167 aggressive, angry, fierce and loud members.
If you are the type that likes engaging fiercely, try their politics/culture section.
very tribal people.
I only pity the moderators.

In terms of membership, wazua is still in diapers compared to nairaland. The converse also holds in terms of decorum

Kenyans are not forumites unlike their west african counterparts.
Many seek EAfrican forums but can't find those that are as active as theirs.
Find kenyans on twitter.
Strange enough, I am too lazy to tweet.

I think Nairaland is only comparable to Jamiiforums. All are the leading forums in their countrys, much more popular than local media with users conversing in dialects on every topic under the sun.

Kenyanlist was a good attempt in the same line, much higher ranked before Ndemo debacle and the temporary closure of its forums.
