The best deal is from zain only if you are a heavy user willing to spend 3k per month unlimited usage. You must sign a post paid contract with them. If orange coverage is good in your area,go for them, they have a 2000mb bundle for prepaid @2k. But if you don't exhaust your bundle within 30days,you are left with zero.

Safaricom sells 1gb bundle @2500/,700mb @2000/ 300mb @1000/. The have smaller bundles but not economical. If you have 3G coverage where you live,go for safaricom. You pay more for higher speeds assuming you have 3G coverage most of the time

If you want to get value for your money go for the safaricom broadband modem.@sh3999.Nairobi has 3G coverage so will experience amazing speeds.

They also offer flexible data bundles depending on your projected data usage

1GB at sh2499

700mb at sh 1999

300mb at sh 999

100 mb at sh 500

40mb at sh 250

The orange modem is cheap when buying but their internet charges are too high. Zain is also quite expensive. I think safaricom is the best option

Theu,u av made the right conclusion. As I post this,I am using the safcom modem at the cheapest rate. Since I used it for the first time,I have never regretted. It can only get better.

The best option is to buy the safaricom modem @4k then have it unlocked to accept any simcard. It cost between ksh 800-1000/ to unlock. Then you can use whichever simcard you wish, according to your needs at any particular time. YU is the most flexible for a prepaid customer at 3bob per mb,no bundles,no contracts, meaning you can top up with any amount and browse @3bob/mb. Speed is also good,18-25KBps when downloading. Only problem with YU is poor coverage
