PBT DOWN to 7.18B from 8.47B
PAT DOWN to 4.88B from 5.86B

NSSF grows stake in Bamburi Cement



The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has increased its stake in Bamburi Cement to enhance the fund's bid to reclaim a seat in the board of the cement firm.

Filings with the regulator indicate that the workers-owned pension provider increased its stake to 16.67 per cent as at April 11 from 14.71 per cent in September 2012 after buying 3.53 million shares currently worth Sh724 million.

Same query here since yesterday BAMB traded a huge turnover of around 600k plus shares @205.
$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!
