Last year they gave 0.40 dividends and bonus shares in an effort to conserve cash for expansion...this year they give 0.50 per share...these directors are mean with dividends...I wonder which funny reason they gave this time round...am disappointed...not by the results but by the mean directors.

They are opening 25 new branches in Kenya this year and they need the money! That's why they are mean on the dividends.

What is the contribution of Coop Holding and Kingdom securities to the bottomline? How do they compare with CIC?

Associate is CIC only.
Kingdom securities is fully owned by Co-op bank.
Last year the share os associate was around ksh.154 million which was equivalent to the 26.44% that Co-op owns in the Insurance Company.
100% gave ksh.605million which was the full year profit of CIC.

@Ericsson: Many thanks. Looks this year CIC will announce good results. Just wondering how they make this when HY results were not impressive!
