I am so dissapointed with the Kikuyu County Council for the grand corruption that is going on. I have a plan for building flats in the county that has been waiting for approval for over 6 months. The worst thing is that the plan has already been approved by Kiambu county and the only thing remaining is approval from Kikuyu county. I have been to Kikuyu over 10 timesto see the same guy.He keeps giving me the run a rounds.I have taken the Guy to the site twice. He has asked for changes to my plan 3 times .He even asked me to remove the balcony's yet the bulding next door has plenty of Balconies

.Finally he asked me for a bribe..I told him i will never give him a dime . I would rather not build than give that guy a penny. I refuse to give this guy the satisfaction of winning.I know am the one losing but someone has to put an end to this mayhem. If its not Mungiki its the civil cervants.

We need to stand fast against these bastards. I am not sure of your options but you should write an OFFICIAL letter (registered post) to the KCC. Then contact the KACC as well.

Kudos for standig out from the crowd and saying NO to corruption! Expose the guy to the media, and the cops and whoever else deals with corruption in this country will be there to follow up on the rest. I wish you all the best and i really wish i'd help:(

Its great that you have refused to bribe the guy. Wish all kenyans were like you.

Simply pretend that you have accepted to bribe him and arrange when and where to give him the money. Go to KACC offices at Integrity Centre, they will give you treated notes and then lay a trap for the guy. They are perfect in nabbing such 'small fish'

FYI .....I finally have my plans in my hands APPROVED AND REGISTERED....Without paying the so called corrupt ( engineer) a penny. One of my friends was able to take my plans to the local MPIG ( Nguyai) . The Mpig took the plans to the engineer and to my understanding he denied ever asking for a bribe.Am glad my Mp did the right thing and helped out.Thank you to all that engouraged me to fight for my rights.
