Was stuck on Jogoo Rd at Hamsa. In 2hrs 10mins had covered less than 200mtrs. Had to make a U-turn and go back to town.

Witnessed it first hand. mainly caused by
1. Sheer Stupidity and lack of rd courtesy- overlapping, blocking junctions
2. Poor Drainage system- The roads at some sections became rivers- one premio with bald tyres was swept off road at the bridge opp uchumi- jogoo rd
3. Thick sets- how can one splash water yet the car is a pujo, infamous as they are with carburetor and distributors that soak water like sponge? the road had more than 7 vehicles stalled in the middle of the rivers!

4. THIKA rd: Just before Githurai- i bet this is a road design flaw: The dam forming on the new highway is due to a seasonal river that flows from Zimmerman /44 area. The chinese would rather assume it never exists.

PS: The Rain was not to blame and yeah kudos for the team that unlocked the Buru mess...as the other drivers wound up the windows to keep away the rains....

This right there is our biggest problem. I have pointed out here before that, if we all could just follow the rules then maybe we would be half way in tackling this problem Sad Pray

@ Lolest overlapping and such behaviour is not confined to eastlands

Agreed, the problem is with the Toyota Probox. Anyone buying the car must be having an IQ of a goat.

In that case, we should be buying BMW's only or the likes and we will have order in Eastlands. Woh! Don't I have a great IQ?, same level as a lizard.

So we ban the import of Toyota Proboxes and syokimau the existing ones??? Then we shall have order on the roads...

In what year of our lord is outering rd being fixed and dualed?
Eastern bypass is now acting like the outer ring rd.
