Gava should do away with the comesa quota.Why should we pay thro the nose due to the lack of a good harvest or inefficiencies of factories.When will we ever learn to be efficient ala Kenana Sugar that is purely run by Africans with purely local resources?

Purpose was to safeguard the local sugar industry. But it seams they never have had any strategy to remain competitive in the region and most likely a number of them will close shop sooner than they cry "Tunaomba serikali iingilie katikati"

its not a basic need. ipotee kabisa. those sugar farmers can do better planting maize.
When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

Why would you advice a farmer to move from one crop that is messed up by govt. policy and regulation to another. Better off planting crops the "govt" isnt interested in.
