The book written by Alenyo George William is facinating, page 159 reads

"So the Luo have secured and kept the covenant box......The luo and their descendants are currently at the source of ............and at the source of the Nile around Lake Victoria".

In other words, the Luo are in possession of the Ark of the Covenant. Isnt this great?

The present day Luo language evolved as a "Lingua franca" of slavery in |Eqypt and is a micture of Hebrew and ancient Luo. Ath the time of Exodus due to racial discrimination, the black community among the Israelites (The Luo) were prevented from going to the promised land (Read Numbers 12:1) However, a Luo-jew called Achan managed to go with the Israelites. After the Jewish "Exodus" the Luo migrated South of the Nile with a divine purpose to settle at the source of the Nile. However, between 1200BC to 600BC the Luo went back and attacked Egypt and established a dynasty of Luo pharaohs over Epypt.

The differences in traditions (one various obvious), tells me Luos can no more call themselves Jewish descendants than I can call myself a descendant of the Inca

Considering that Melchior Ondetto was regarded as The Christ- and I think there's still another Christ alive from those sides- it is possible that their collective psyche has an affinity to Jewish roots. And I don't think it is bad, or even 'false.'

But then it would be bad for democracy and economy if it is part of a propaganda campaign. We could find ourselves waiting for water to turn into wine in vain.
