unlocking safaricom phones on offer

I like these safaricom phones offers but the problem is these phones are locked to its network. Like now i bought a nice alcatel touch tribe last year of which i use as modem but am only restricted to safaricom. how do i unlock these phone to accept kina yu airtel simcards.

Not illegal. Being blocked is good because it generattes busines for those with the unlocking software. Just the same analogy with creating a computer virus and then developing an anti virus.

While at it I would also appreciate some help in unlocking my modem locked to Safcom (Huwawei E173)

XYZEE send me your IMEI and the Huawei model No (173?)...i will send you the unlocking code. :)

How about Huawei E1750? I have the unlock code but it does not prompt for the code on inserting another network sim?
