the constitution protects us against such madness, if the vehicle was stolen in the Uk, they failed to recover it on their roads, on the high seas to hell with them unless they refund me my money plus interest.!!! ABK

And what happened to innocent purchaser for value without knowledge? The blanket nature of it all is rather unfortunate.

@Mlefu interpol means international police.Just because a criminal may escape being caught anywhere does not justify him being free.Let these guys do their work.Incase you didn,t know same apply if you are buying vehicle parts from the main car dealers.ie DT Dobie,Toyota,CMC they will always ask you for the car details and they can detect such and report also.

Problem is @Mlefu when these crooks steal the vehicles, they are smart enough to misdeclare them during shipping.Don,t forget this is underworld deal. But once they have realised their monies,to hell to the victim who will buy the car.EVER heard the rule of "due deligence"

The international law is very clear (though am no lawyer) on property stolen from other countries.
Thats why the boy Interpol (International Police) was formed to deal with such acts and with the mandate to countries to cooperate.
No court battle will save you unless you sue the seller who disposed to you.!

Put the shoe on the other foot....

Suppose you buy a brand new Hammer from GM Kenya. Then it is stolen and later found in Greece. Would you entertain any claims for compensation from the Greek owner who bought it from the crooks [without knowing it was stolen]?
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
