Could someone please enlighten me on how much the cost of kokoto a ton and timber costs down there.

Depends on where it will be delivered but you can work with 1,300.00 per ton if within 10km from mlolongo quarries. Timber depends on the size and type. good day.

Timber depends on the
(a)tree(Cypress, bluegam, pine, Grevillea)
(b)size eg 6x2 is more expensive that 4x2

The price of aggregate (kokoto) is given above. I bought a 16tonner @ 22k recently in Ruiru which works to something like KShs 1,375/Ton

Thank you very much for the information.
This kind of information is hard to come by especially when you are not there physically especially the kokoto one.
Bluegum/bluegam is good with me and its for roofing purposes.
Anyways, how much does it cost??
