Hi Guys,

I did a search on this piece of property and the approx area is given as 0.038 ha.

In terms of 1/4, 1/8, etc does this mean the land is 1/32 or 1/8 subdivided into 4 pieces?

Thanks.

0.038 hectares = 0.093900045 acres

I hope this will help ?

I Kenya, the common parlance when it comes to land measurement is ACRES, that said, the land is approx. 0.093898 Acres(Acre=Ha X 2.471). This means is slighly less than an eighth of an acre 0.1250.

Thanks guys. I actually was thinking there is no difference between acres and hactares.

This is good. It will help me in getting decided on whether to buy.

@ Gath, It's HECTARES. 1hectare (ha) is equivalent to land measuring 100 metres by 100 metres or 10000 square metres.

1 acre is equivalent to 0.4047ha

Bkismat, you are wrong!if 1ac is 100sqm and 1ha is 10,000sqm, it means 1ha is 100acres! I would take 100ac anytime!

hi,
0.038ha = 4090 sq.ft
taking 1 side as 100ft
=> 4090/100 = 40.9ft
hence the size becomes 40 x 100ft
or 50 x 80 ft
or there about.

10m is very small. Its just approx 30ft! An eighth is roughly 50ft x 100ft.
