After the crash of its stock exchange the other day, that led to suspension of trading the Egyptian government has shut down the internet, an action unprecedented in Internet history.

Every business that relies on internet connectivity is now cut off from the rest of the world.

After what went down in Tunisia I expect a ripple effect over Arab countries with Egypt coming next...
I even expect UAE to fall soon enough...

But I wish Museveni would also run for the hills

Do you think this will affect the oil prices especially if the same is replicated in the Middle East?

@Milken.
I doubt this will effect the oil production in anyway. The world highest oil producer Saudi Arabia has no problem.

Yemen is now burning....
I doubt if UAE will follow suit...a small country, rich with a small population. Just make them happy and u r safe

The quest and thirst for freedom is unquenchable! Facebook and Twitter are leading in this.The Arab world long consigned to untold bondage has begun tasting freedom and there is no looking back. Egypt are looking to replicate the Tunisia Success story.
Today will see one of its worst riots, quite unprecendented in Egypts long history, after the Friday prayers.
CNN in the morning reported that even the sms service has been banned.
