@Monnie, There is a company that calls itself Herbal Garden just around warren Area of Kasarani. They should be of good help. Also you could get into any supermarket, pick out a local product and contact the maker. They should be outsourcing planters. @ Wendz Aloe Vera is very Specific on species and so your relative needs to know what species the bushes are I Think Therefore I Am

@Bwenyenye, Could you kindly give me the exact direction to the Herbal Garden company at Kasarani and their email address if you can get it. Thay introduced the Aloe Vera to our area and I invested in them about three years ago but since then have never seen anyone from the company to harvest the Aloe and now I have so many seedlings.

@ Bawcie Responding to Internet queries is not a favorite of many Kenyan companies. Why not try and call them on the number I gave earlier. You will make more mileage that way. I Think Therefore I Am

@ bwenyenye I gave the contacts to my brother back home to get in touch with them but the calls are never answered, am planning next month to come home and visit their offices, they had an office along Ngong rd and I visited there a couple of times but it was ever closed and have talked to Dr Njenga the director a couple of times but he is no help, he promises to send an extension officer to the farm but nothing happens. I believe the Aloe extract has a great return but getting the market for them is proving a problem. In December I was at home and believe me the mature plants were going to waste and I still cannot get a market and the seedlings are now more than a thousand it is so frustrating. But I will still keep on trying to get a market as you may have noticed many products use the Aloe extract, have even visited KARI but they dont have contacts of where the Aloe extract can be sold. Thanks.

It seems to me that Bawcie does not need tonnes of aloe vera but needs someone who wants tonnes of aloe vera. @Bawcie Thanks alot. I too have my reservations with these guys. Since there are many Aloe Vera products on the shelves, there must be someone buying around Kenya. Does anyone know of such? I Think Therefore I Am

Thanks guys for the information, actually what I need is contacts of a company which engages in buying of the Aloe Vera plant extract and so far the company who introduced it to us has failed completely to harvest the plant and even to give extension services. But I will not give up hope of getting a straight company to buy the produce and considering the number of products containing the Aloe on the supermarket shelves there must be such a company or maybe it is a marketing gimmick to sell the products.
