Does it still happen in upcountry schools

No wonder some students used to think in vernacular....Laughing out loudly

Exam paper read: Andika insha juu ya "Mtungo"

Student writes: Mtungo ni mbembe ambayo husanduruo, Ni mbembe ya kuzerokio na mai mahio!....LMAO!!!!

Reminds me of class six when one of my classmates was feeling dizzy and he needed permission to go to hospital. The jamma told the teacher "am rounding"

In regards to this, kindly advise if the books we used in lower primary to learn vernacular can still be found in bookshops today. If yes which book shops. I would love to get some

A friend of mine insists he had a classmate who always read Anyone as A-Nyone [Njung'e can translate]. No matter how hard the teacher tried, he never changed!
