For all y'all and your short-sightedness, engage your brains a bit more often..

@Kusadikika,
I agree in your sentiments,my sentiments are drawn largely by my experience in the US, contact sports is huge in the states and i was an avid follower(still is) of NFL, NBA, baseball (america's past-time)and Indy car, but like you have well put it,i could not understand (then)why "our" black idols kept on letting us down when they had achieved super-stardom status as opposed to their white counterparts. Two things here, is it the white shortcomings were not highlighted enough or society (white) will go at any lengths to prove to us "otherwise" about the black psyche and hence my question? So do you agree it still is a white man's world? and it it will take even longer for this guys to accept any good from us.

@everlasting
Mike Hurd's allegations were false,the board actually voted 6 -4 to go public with the "false" sexual harassment claims as an indicator of good corporate governance.

@Robinhood,

Sure i know Ben and this is exactly my point, sure they are scandals involving whites, loads of them my point is, do they easily come to the fore the way black one's do, and true about the way America portrays black athletes.

My question is, is it still a white man's world??

.....ooooooohhhh!!! (dont know how to put this exclamation in Kikamba). Great for making yourself clear. Yes, black people scandals are hyped more than white scandals. And this of course could be attributed to where the black man has been placed by 'them'. You are rght...this is still a white mans world. Working as an expat and most of the time finding myself in the company of whites, I hear comments about the black race that are too hard to let go. I sometimes just feel like packing and going back to my village. RACISM is very much active and the white man would do anything to deface the black man from the face of the earth.

@Ric, ever heard of the saying '' they should never have given you ni**ers money''? I am sure there are some who take/mean this very literally .

Mama anaweza kutoa suruali yake na atoe yako pia na akuvalishe condom na agusishe nini yako kwa nini yake halafu aseme No!! even with her legs wide apart. If after this point you proceed any further you would be guilty of the offence of rape.

@Ric Dees you need to also consider that the black man is overly represented in the sports world. Not surprising given that it seems the black man is physically superior. By the way are you following the Lance Armstrong tour de France doping debate??????

Just in case I get my ears bitten of for the controversial statement above, just consider when was the last time any other race won the 100 metres dash?
