I like to snore when I sleep,stress free. That's why I use reputable,well established local agents when buying any car overseas for a small fee. If they are genuine,they will never disappoint you and if things go hay-wire,they will promptly refund you while they lick their own wounds. But it's very unlikely they will disappoint! This also applies to other transactions where I have a lawyer always handy with sound advise acting as my agent. This will obviously cost you a reasonable fee,but you get to have a sound sleep without any ma-stress and incurring hefty loses will be avoided. Somehow like insurance!

thanks to all who are willing to assist.
the company is registered in japan and has a bank account in japan. before i sent the money the company was registered with the exporters association in japan but when i checked last week i saw he has been suspended for not renewing his licence.
he is not a japanese but a pakistani in japan.
i called the japan embassy in nairobi but they were of no assistance bcoz they dont have an arm dealing with such incidents and had advised i consult the interpol.
please keep your advise coming as am getting ideas and hope that i can retrieve the cash.

thanks for your contributions and be assured am not jokking it only that i think its not legal to post the website and name under this forum but discussing it as a general issue is fine. coz i wanted advise on how to go about it and thanks to those who responded with ideas on how to approach the matter.
