I would buy Paka at 1/- just coz of the land/factory in Nakuru... It is quite nice... I was there in 2008... And it is a nice piece of property... Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Also the YES means they might have problems with the Lease (999 to 99) if some politicians decide to play around... Greedy when others are fearful. They should be able to get further lease and utilize the land better to get a higher return. Greatest nightmare will be those who own iddle land and some have no idea where the land is.

Reminds me of Sameer Africa. Just wondering - does anyone know if they own all the land on Mombasa Road "Sameer Park". Does Sameer Africa have a stake in the new building (ICT or something) where the gova was to lease. Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! @gatheuzi - The conman merali gave Sameer Africa (listed) 25% of the project in exchnage for the land. We have no idea how much debt is on the property & how the other 75% was apportioned... IMHO, merali pulled a fast one on sameer africa (tyres) shareholders... I am sure many banks would have lent to SA (tyres) to build the ICT centre & thus SA wud have retained 100% ownership... Thanks @vvs, You have given me another reason I shouldn't invest with the merali guy. Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. May be on the industrials, people will wait for annual results to start coming before they take positions
