i dont think the rates are punitive,but what pisses me there are no medicines in hospitals.
let the government stock affordable drugs.
Remember in kenya we are not overtaxed.its only that we don get value from taxes we pay.

4 Reasons why I say No to the move to increase the rates and/ expand the range of services:
1.The institution is inefficient &lacks the transparency and capacity to administer the fund.recurrent expenditure at 42%of the collection.poor investiment ova the last 2 decades.They r yet to disclose the audit results.
2.There is poor political support.the social principle sucks.They should arrive at a standard rate then ask the government to pay the difference(tax fund it).kenyans with a private cover will be at a loss on what to do,the medicalinsurance cost wil go up yet u cnnt opt out-ua private cover.
3.They are assuming that fixing the financing issue ,is the majical bullet 4all problems rocking the health sector.
4.they are not telling the truth,they will only provide primary healthcare services.specialised care-NO!
