sparkly, since you started all this value trap stuff on Wazua, can you please list all the stocks on the NSE you think are value traps? Better yet, start a new thread(in the stocks section) on the same. It'll be interesting

@y am also waiting for @hort's explanation why kplc=value trap. IMO unga and sadly sameer are value traps. Then there is Total.

Firstly because there are plenty of other counters set to rise without any uncertainty in then and secondly G.O.K may pull a fast one on us mess up the conversion ratio... But since you got in at 200 lets enjoy the ride for now

remember when Total used to trade in the 50-60 range? Since then it just seems to go lower and lower. Dividend yield has been good, PE reasonable but the company never seems to unlock real value in terms of price appreciation.

@ Sparkly...

what is the common thread running across your list of value traps? IMHO, it is price transfer. KPLC does not practise that as it has neither foreign nor dubious owners.
