@shalishali, Laughing out loudly haha..honest pple usually have nothing to hide and yes name means just thatsmile ...
1500 vs 1800, surely even with this analysis there has to be some difference(more than just .1)otherwise by the same argument, 2000 is better(and more fuel efficient)than a 1800Liar .doesnt this beat the logic of the cc ratings?
pple with 1500 and experienced 1800 usually swear they spend more on the 1800(is this just psychological)Shame on you ?

Thanks you guys for this. So between 1800cc and a 2000cc with a CV transmission, which has a better handling and fuel economy? By this we have ruled out the 1500cc

@groupielove

The A20 being a much heavier car would be more stable and comfortable at higher speeds, the car has a CVT transmission which does not have the high engine revs and associated gear shifts or jerks which gives a driver the feeling of power and acceleration with a normal AT. There have also been some issues with the earlier D4 engine in the premio but the later unit in allion is an improved one but still requires diligence in maintenance. The a18's smaller but reliable engine gives still gives a respectable power output in comparison and with the normal AT would give better response and still offer good stability and handling.

Thus in my opinion I would go for the 1800cc model which gives a good balance of power, responsiveness, fuel economy, known engine reliability and stability on the road.

Damn guess al stick with the 1800cc one then..the A20 aint that easy to import and it seems from auctioneers websites they still have them with the usual 4AT transmission.

For first edition (2001-2007) The weight difference between A18 and A20 is 70kg. Approx 1 person :D

As far as I know, the 2L first edition (2001-2007) Allion/Premio engine is coupled with CVT, and for the second edition (2007+) all three engines are coupled with CVT.
