Ee Mungu nguvu yetu
Ilete baraka kwetu
Haki iwe ngao na mlinzi
Natukae na ndugu
Amani na uhuru
Raha tupate na ustawi

Amkeni ndugu zetu
Tufanye sote bidii
Nasi tujitoe kwa nguvu
Nchi yetu ya Kenya
Tunayoipenda
Tuwe tayari kuilinda

Natujenge taifa letu
Ee, ndio wajibu wetu
Kenya istahili heshima
Tuungane mikono
Pamoja kazini
Kila siku tuwe na shukrani

Malaika, nakupenda malaika.
Nami ni fanye je?
Kijana mwenzio
Nashindwa na mali sina we
Ningekuoa malaika...

and

Bwana nipe pesa
Watoto wana njaa
Sababu mke wako
Azoea kutangatanga
hata majirani
Wamechoka kumuona
huwa wakisema, fungeni mlango anakujaa

All best (C&P)

Artist: Daudi Kabaka
Song: Pole Musa
Language: Kiswahili

Musa nimevumilia sana
Musa nimevumilia sana
kupigwa pigwa kama mimi punda
na sura yangu imeharibika
na ngumi zako za kila siku Musa
taabu...
taabu...
taabu

kweli Musa,
uliponioa
sura yangu,
haikuwa na alama
hata moja

nilikuwa na afya nzuri
nilinona
kama ngoima
ya Kirige

kweli Musa,
uliponioa
sura yangu,
haikuwa na alama
hata moja

nilikuwa na afya nzuri
nilinona
kama ngoima
ya Kirige

oye, oye, tafadhali Musa
tafuta bibi atakayeweza
kuvumilia hizo tabia zako
ukinywa pombe wamnywia yeye
ukinywa munyeke wamnywia yeye
pole...
pole...
pole.

there's this song story I heard on one of those fancy new FM stations the other day. It has distinctly kao beats but dunno its name/artist.
the guy/musician went out for the night at ongata rongai and he really had a ball. Until around midnight when gangsters stormed in & stopped the music, ordering all the revellers to remove all mobiles phones and cash...and remove all clothing and put it in the middle of the dance floor...they all fearfully complied, & the crooks took all the goodies and split into the night.
The revellers then dived for their clothes but in the scramble to cover their nakedness each grabbed what they could lay their hands on, not what belonged to them and there was this kabudaa with a very pronounced potbelly who unfortunately only got...a woman's bikers. The /musician narrator then says he went home traumatized but had a vry difficult time convincing his wife that the perfume on his clothes was because of the clothers piled on the floor - the wife said there was no robbery, that that was a very good story he was spinning & she would be darned if she would swalllow such a cock-n-bull story. How come it had not been reported in the media?Try another one, she vehemently demanded, shouting that why couldnt he just come clean and say which woman he was with.
But the narrator/musician was even sorrier for the potbellied man who went home in a woman's bikers, wondering what story he would tell his wife and who would believe him, given that even he himself still couldnt biliv what had happened!
