Unfortunately masses do not necessarily translate into votes. It is interesting to hear some of the reasons people attend those rallies "twende tukaone ruto" or "sijawahi ona president. twende tukamuone"... or "kwasababu wametufungia nje (nyayo stadium as they did to many) basi twende rally. Gani iko karibu?" irrespective of what they are voting.... and if they can get a t-shirt and a cap for free in the process, well and good.

By the way NO tema claims that they dont have money to buy supporters caps and Tishats; they only hand over RED cards!!!
If this is true, then the masses that showed up at YES rally are just people looking for free gifts.
