Most of Skerians seems to have treasured memories and going by the replies of another thread which was hijacked I guess they are many

The only sad thing is that most of our children wont have such sweet memories

@ Njung'e where did those rotten eggs come from?.

My mother used to give us permission to go to those factual films but with strict instructions to my older bro's to take care of us. But funny enough we used to regroup when going home.

Where did my older bro used to disappear to?

@Sheri,

And the first time artificial insemination came to my village....Folks had never seen the procedure............An old lady was heard wondering aloud.....'Ngai...........Riu ekumihaica atia na ndari na thituru'.(How is he going to 'climb' the animal without a stool)

aaiii! Njung'e

I can't stop laughing. But upto to this time I can't stand the VET doing that. The gentleman (it happens to be a man) usually looks so satsified when declaring that a good breed Ive brought today.

@njung'e those Vets were the most proud fellows i have ever encountered. i remember that you had to ensure that there was no cows@&t anywhere near the pen otherwise he would just drive off without inseminating the cow...

It aslo make me kumbuka that the vet guy procedure.Along with the cow,u also had to take a Bar soap and a bottle of water (in those treetop bottles). i agree those guys used to enjoy their work plus riding their motor cycles or those suzukis! tumetoka mbali
