Do you like the new look Nation newspaper?

Just like the time SK became wazua, this one will also take some time getting used to for me.

The problem with these Kenyan newspapers has never been the outlook. It is the quality of reporting, features and general content e.t.c Look at magazines like Times or The Economist-have retained form but people still buy because of content. NMG, Standard et al. can do all the cosmetic bluffs they can but anytime I look at the journalists sent to cover news at a company event or other events, I believe nothing meaningful will ever come out of those houses-This said, I need to point out out that some good journalists exist but- or rather that I have read some nice work. The strength of any chain is actually its weakest link. The sooner they get rid of those mangoes in the news gathering teams and editorial desks, the better.

The fonts are larger, and easier to the eye. At least they didn't turn it upside down like the other guys did.

Its normal for human beings to resist every new thing. You will get used to it.BTW BBC also changed their presentation in their website.

The look is not so bad but i like the new watchman column, i really never got used to the one they had adopted. While we are at it, there was a time i thought i had figured out Clay Muganda and then i got mixed up in the middle. I like his critisism but the person behind the pen is hard to know.

The problem with Nation is its got a lot of 'initial' hype but eventually loses its punch in the long haul.

Remember Saturday, Zuqka, Money...?
They hit the scene with a bang, held kidogo, and eventually fizzled.

Time will tell if they're in for keeps or if it is just a marketing gimmick to boost fledgling sales.
So nice that its nasty, so bangin' its busting,

I do not like the new look.. Too many things in a newspaper and the quality of the articles does not seem as high. It has a tabloid feel.
....above all, to stand.

The font and font size is ok. What I do not like is the DN2. First, it does not have a theme, its not focused to a particular market and then, what a name DN2.
NMG team lacks creativity, kabisa. On creativity, Std Group beats them hands down and thus NMG has to play catch up. Its signs of shifting markets, albeit slowly.

A bit better than previous look but the format is still time-wasting. Make the paper longer and try to fit a story in one page. Some articles are sooo short yet spread into many pages making it boring to read while on the run.
