@ tkzee, i did all that but the lady at the customer care told me its policy to have your original documents certificate hence you have to avail uaself. unless you got some adress of the sort, someone I can talk to directly then it will be of great help from you. thanks again.

mozenrat, I feel that brokers see things as 'back to normal' and are going back to their old ways. This is exactly the sort of thing that made Equity Bank popular, when other banks were setting minimum balances and closing branches 'ushago'. I'm guessing those brokers don't want 'poor' shareholders.
