This is the wells fargo of Kenya. PE 15 and below atm, 40%+ cosistent growth! Great ROE....and have u tried getting a loan from these guys? They r pretty conservative!

I have never attempted to open an account with them ever since they closed the branch near my home.

How long have they sustained the stellar growth?

@ Waithaka, I beg to differ.
My employer does a check-off cheque of about 2 million per month to the Std for personal loan for employees.

Suspect they will seriously consider a split at some point. I think its one of the the major banks that hasnt done so.

NOPE...RICHARD ETEMESI HAS BEEN WITH THE BANK FOR JUST ABOUT 2-3YEARS.

They have this brilliant strategy where they go to the big companies(EG KQ) and give the employees loans at 15% unsecured and payment is done thru the checkoff...this is just about normal interest rates but repayment is virtually guaranteed ,
