This is not a stock to get in and out of for dividends.... You'll probably get burned... Its got a 5.3% yield but it will lose more than this by books closure

Would buy some, but at a price way below current since its s/holders seem disappointed with the div. I also think revenue will increase at the same level again for a while.

True that. Expect the dip to also happen with SCOM after book closure. I'm saving up for that. I'm looking at below 4.5

BBI will solve it

What will prevent it from coming to 5 bob ? .....Iam seeing alot of players in Data market which safcom expect to generate more revenue..Likes of KDN/Acces/Dimension/Zain /Essar..
and for that fact safcom depends mostly on KDN for infrastracture so there is no much promise they can offer to their customers as far as uptime is concern

I admit I was blind-sided on this one! They have enough cash to pay off any debt... So why not a generous dividend?

My friend, usicheke - start saving now. This number portability bullsh*t, Airtel, cheaper 3G license coupled with the MJ's retirement rumor are enough ingredients to make speculators and crowd followers break some thin sweat.

WTK was terrific, watch out for KAKUZI half year next month, volumes and exchange rate have largely compensated for the price fall and which also seems to have bottomed out.
Demand on the counter is lurking with intent.
