@ All - Can we please have a minute of silence on behalf of Njung'e. Word on the ground [graud] is that when Njung'e tried landing this weekend, he was told by the airport management "Can't we just talk. We never talk anymore! Every time you just want to be cleared to land!". Njung'e thought he would land after the long conversation but he was told that that would negate all the "progress" they had made!!! Don't cross him this week!

am curious abt helicopter pilots i.e those pilots who land at just any airport so long as it is available. Or airports that allow are just too happy to allow any pilot to land his plane - Cessna, A380, C130 Hercules or whichever - on them: is it an inborn trait or acquired from one's life experiences?

I think it depends on a number of things:

The petrol: If it was a clean petrol it has discipline.

Airport management: Or the person who took care of the pilot or landing strip before

Environment: The environment that the aeroplane was made under.
